Normally, the internet loves Monday Night Football graphics, with cartoon sendups to illustrate stats and facts with pop culture stuff.
This time around, with the mania around New York Giants QB Tommy DeVito — AKA Tommy Cutlets — ESPN put together a graphic showing some chicken cutlets to show his statistics. But the computer-generated food came out … a little dry? Some of my For The Win colleagues didn’t think they looked that bad. I disagree, but I give the designers a pass.
So people on X (the artist formerly known as Twitter) were roasting (no pun) the graphic with some funny responses. Here’s a sampling:
ESPN thinks these are "Cutlets?" Get the hell outta here! pic.twitter.com/Be9QGrPgZ7
