Mark your calendars: the ESPN debut of The Pat McAfee Show has been revealed.
The network announced Thursday that McAfee’s show will launch on its network on Sept. 7 at noon ET. The first two hours of the three-hour program will air weekdays on ESPN, ESPN+ and ESPN’s YouTube channel. The final hour will stream on ESPN+ and YouTube.
ESPN signed McAfee to a five-year, $85 million deal earlier this year, deepening its relationship with the popular former Colts and West Virginia University punter after McAfee already had been a part of the company’s football coverage in recent years. Now, he’ll have his own show on the network’s airwaves.
McAfee’s new airtime brings an end to the long-running noon ET window for SportsCenter, which now will be bumped to 2 p.m. ET.
ESPN also revealed that McAfee will occasionally host live shows on Friday at the site of that week’s College GameDay appearances during the fall. McAfee had announced earlier this week that he would do a live show in Tuscaloosa, Ala., on Sept. 8 one day ahead of the Texas-Alabama game.
