ESPN analyst: Giants offense in Year 2 will be ‘extremely dynamic’

Many experts and talking heads believe the New York Giants will be much better this season, their second under head coach Brian Daboll.

Last year, Daboll took a team that had lost 10 or more games five straight seasons and led them to the postseason with a 9-7-1 record.

Daboll, who was named NFL Coach of the Year for his efforts, simply came in and cleaned up the mistakes that had been dogging the team for years – turnovers, penalties, injuries, etc. – and voila! The team became a contender overnight.

ESPN’s Sam Acho, a former NFL linebacker who crossed paths with Daboll in Buffalo in 2018, believes the Giants will improve even more in 2023, calling it ‘dynamic’.

The Giants are much better on paper heading into 2023. They added a center in rookie John Michael Schmitz and numerous weapons in the passing game such as former Pro Bowl tight end Darren Waller and wide receivers Parris Campbell and rookie Jalin Hyatt.

Let’s not forget that quarterback Daniel Jones is now fully comfortable in Daboll and offensive coordinator Mike Kafka’s scheme and should be more productive going forward.
