(Picture: Google Maps)Justice Secretary Dominic Raab has said he is “horrified” after a police community support officer (PCSO) was left with serious injuries in a “targeted attack”.
The off-duty officer was stabbed in the arm in Esher on Tuesday afternoon.
Mr Raab is the MP for Esher and Walton.
“Horrified to hear about the stabbing of a @SurreyPolice PCSO in Esher”, he said in a tweet.
“I’m relieved to hear that the officer is now home and wish them a full & swift recovery.
“Surrey Police are appealing for witnesses - please come forward if you have any information.”

The PCSO was attacked at around 2.50pm while walking through Old Church Path on her way from Elmbridge Police Station, Surrey Police said.
The suspect is believed to have fled the scene in the direction of Esher Park Avenue.
He is described as white, aged 14-15 years old, and of slim build.
Surrey Police said he was wearing black trousers and black footwear with a black hooded top and a surgical face mask.
Two 15-year-old boys and a 14-year-old boy were arrested on suspicion of attempted murder on Tuesday.
They have been released under investigation and inquiries remain ongoing, police said.
Detectives have appealed for anyone who may have information relating to the incident, including doorbell or dashcam footage of the surrounding area between 2pm and 3.15pm, to contact them.
Detective Inspector Gareth Hicks said: “Understandably, staff have been left appalled by this attack.
“Our colleague is recovering at home and is being given the appropriate welfare support.
“We are working round the clock to investigate this attack and need to hear from anyone who may have any information which could help our investigation, including CCTV, dashcam or doorbell footage of the surrounding area between 2pm and 3.15pm.
“You can report information anonymously to Crimestoppers if you’d rather not speak to us.
“Local residents will notice a heightened police presence in the area as officers continue to carry out house to house inquiries. If you have any concerns, please speak to an officer or contact us through our website or social media accounts.”
