An Escape to the Country couple were concerned they wouldn't find a big enough home for their £1m budget.
Presenter Nicki Chapman ventured to the idyllic Wiltshire countryside to help find a couple find Peter and Irena their dream home. They juggled a generous budget of £1m but were concerned some of their more luxurious purchases wouldn't be allocated adequate space.
Peter fancied a spacious parking area for his two cars, stating a large garage was necessary if they were to place an offer. He gifted his wife a baby grand piano to play as she enjoyed her retirement, which inevitably played a key part in the house hunt.

As they toured the properties Nicki lined up, they were complimentary with everything they were shown. The couple viewed several spacious properties at both ends of their budget, sometimes stretching to almost £100,000 cheaper than they expected, but they made sure to find out the exact measurements of their potential new homes before moving forward.
With a measuring tape, they inspected the perimeter of the garage to ensure it would meet their needs, before taking it around multiple rooms to confirm to the exact inch what they'd be paying for. Irena also shared concerns during about whether or not her piano would be able to fit in the suggested rooms.
Coming together at the end of the programme, the couple confirmed they would be calling Wiltshire their new home but not right now. They were swept away with a thatched property's interior and rural location but told Nicki they needed more time to consider the surrounding area. They left the show without placing an offer.
