Escape to the Chateau star Dick Strawbridge has let slip how he 'bickers' with his grown-up son James in behind-the-scenes footage.
The moment was captured in the chateau's gardens for the upcoming season of the popular Channel 4 show.
The video was posted on the Escape to the Chateau's Instagram, along with the caption: " Father and son time at The Chateau. Be sure to watch the new series to see what these two have been up to."
In the video, James tells the viewers: " It's a beautiful morning. We are trying to be very well behaved and do a little bit of filming together. It's been quite a while."
He then shares how the pair are planning to pick up some herbs for a menu together but Dick interjects: "I'm not going to do that, I'm going to use my young son to do that."
James, then replied: "Not your young son, your old son."
Dick scoffed and said: "You are my old young son."
Dick elbowed his son, warning: "I'm going to push him off the stool!"
James added: "It's good fun, isn't it?"
"We bicker," said Dick, prompting James to disagree: "No, we debate."
James then joked: "He doesn't listen to me."
Dick's 'old' son is rarely seen by the viewers with many shocked by their similar appearance.
Viewers of the show will be more familiar with Dick and his talented wife Angel as they have renovated their crumbling French Chateaux over the last eight years.
The pairs two children Dorothy, nine, and Arthur eight have featured on all the series but until recently Dick's older children have stayed out of the spotlight.
Dick is also father to James, 38, and Charlotte, 34, who he welcomed with his first wife, Brigit Strawbridge Howard.
James, followed in his dad's footsteps and became a professional chef; author and of course, on his own TV show, Hungry Sailors.
Charlotte, meanwhile works as a photographer, and is a keen painter and musician.
But fans of the chef and former engineer, loved the on screen bond, with one writing: "You two are the best! Excited to see James on the show."
Another wrote: " Like father like son, we love to see it."
A third wrote: " Loved these two when they done two hungry sailors. I'm looking forward to the new series."
Dick's son, James hosts his own food show, Strawbridge Over The Drawbridge, which began airing on BBC One Northern Ireland earlier this month.
