Stars of Channel 4’s Escape To The Chateau, Dick and Angel Strawbridge, have hit back at show bosses by sharing positive reviews of their services. It comes after the broadcaster confirmed that it will no longer work with the pair on any new productions "following a review" into their conduct - read more about that here.
Taking to their social media account the pair shared a string of positive reviews for the Chateau. One such comment read: “The last episode of escape_to_the_chateau just aired in Australia. Been watching it for years from the very beginning. Not sure what to do with myself now.”
A second review read: “I'll never get over this weekend. Just how we were treated by Dick and Angel, the staff, the location and of course the absolutely amazing Richard and Julie. We are on our way to the eurotunnel with very full hearts. (And grenadine and cinder courtesy of Angel).”

The couple’s response comes after Two Rivers Media, the company who produce Escape To The Chateau, said it would no longer work with them after concerns were raised. The precise nature of the allegations against the couple is not known, but according to Deadline, three of their former colleagues said the they have clashed with producers.
Following the news that Channel 4 would be cutting ties with them, Angel, 45, is reportedly looking to increase her profile with a TV gig on Strictly Come Dancing or I'm A Celebrity... Get Me Out of Here!
A source told The Sun: “Now she is no longer attached to Escape to the Chateau she is considering all options. She would be sure to ruffle feathers in the jungle and is not afraid of speaking her mind.”
