Escape to North Wales with these homes on sale in beautiful locations - some with sea views

House sellers' asking prices hit a record high for the third month in a row, Rightmove announced this week.

The property experts say the price of homes coming to the market upped £2,500 on average in June - pushing the average property price tag across Britain to another record high of £336,073.

Despite Wales seeing the biggest rise in house prices in the UK, up by 14.6 per cent, there are still some great homes on offer in sought-after areas that are affordable.

What's more, is that many are in unique positions, located by the sea with views of the coast or in whimsical woodland areas - giving homeowners a change of scene from city living in inner Greater Manchester.

Tim Bannister, Rightmove’s director of property data, said: "Average prices in Wales are well below the national average, offering good value as well as beautiful rural and coastal surroundings."

Here, we've taken a look at the newly marketed properties a little closer to home in North Wales - which can be commutable to our region if you are thinking of upping sticks.

They're all on sale for below the national average and boast impressive views.
