Haaland sends warning over Grealish partnership
Summer signing Erling Haaland reckons there is more to come from his link-up with Jack Grealish after marking his Manchester City debut with a winner against Bayern Munich.
Haaland only needed 12 minutes to get his account up and running against the Germans after being forced to wait for his much-anticipated introduction. Pep Guardiola won the race for Haaland this summer - and his signature cost the Premier League champions around £51million.
Despite scoring 85 goals in 88 games for Borussia Dortmund in two-and-a-half years, the forward had never tasted victory over Bayern until the early hours UK time. City won 1-0 against Bundesliga opponents and that meeting also offered up a warning to their rivals as to what to expect from Haaland and Grealish.

Klopp compares Liverpool and City summer moves
Liverpool manager Jurgen Klopp has compared his club's summer transfer business with City's as those two sides prepare to rekindle their mouth-watering battle for Premier League supremacy.
A single point separated them last season as City walked home with their fourth title in five campaigns and both managers have gone into the transfer market to strengthen this summer. Guardiola won the race for Norway star Haaland and has also signed England midfielder Kalvin Phillips.
Moving in the other direction are Gabriel Jesus, Raheem Sterling and Oleksandr Zinchenko as Guardiola sets sights on a new left-back with Brighton defender Marc Cucurella understood to be top of his shopping list. Liverpool and Klopp have made their own mark by breaking their transfer record to sign Darwin Nunez from Benfica.
