Erling Haaland has sent Manchester City fans a message after officially being unveiled as the club's No.9.
It's the same number that he would wear in his final season at Borussia Dortmund, where he established himself as arguably the most exciting young player in world football. Haaland joined the club in a £51million move and will take over the No.9 jersey from Gabriel Jesus who joined Arsenal earlier this week.
Haaland scored 62 league goals in 67 games in the Bundesliga with Dortmund, and City fans can only expect him to improve at the age of just 21. City have now confirmed that Haaland is their new No.9, with the player himself sending a message to the fans.

He wrote on Twitter: "Excited to get this going! #mancity".
In addition to Haaland, Pep Guardiola has also signed England midfielder Kalvin Phillips and youngster Julian Alvarez in a bid to shake up his star-studded group. Jesus has moved to London, while Nathan Ake and Raheem Sterling could be set to follow with Chelsea keen to secure their services.
Many people expect Haaland to finish the season as the Premier League's top goalscorer, though he'll face competition from the likes of Mohamed Salah and Harry Kane.
