Erling Haaland lives out his 'craziest fantasies' after Man City brace against Leeds United

Manchester City striker and Leeds United 'fan' Erling Haaland has described his two goals at Elland Road tonight as part of his 'craziest fantasies' after the reigning Premier League champions beat the Whites 3-1.

A second-half brace from the Norwegian was enough to send his tally on the season up to 20 goals as he returned to his birthplace and further staked his claim on this season's Golden Boot award.

A first-half goal from Rodri and a thumping header from Leeds' Pascal Struijk bookended the Haaland double but the visitors came out on top in dominant fashion over the Whites.

Speaking to Amazon Prime after the match, Haaland noted how special the occasion was for him and highlighted the shirts he had in his room when he was younger as inspiration.

"Yeah, with my father and mother with me today, over there [in the stands], it's special. I have to say it's special, I'm happy today because this is a big moment in my career.

"When I was younger, I had a jersey of Eirik Bakke in my bedroom and also a City jersey of my father's so it's really weird... it's in my craziest fantasies I could think of to be at Elland Road and to score for Manchester City against Leeds."
