Erling Haaland played down his Manchester derby hat-trick by praising his Manchester City teammates, as his electric start to life at the Etihad continued in devastating fashion vs Manchester United.
Haaland now has 17 goals and three assists in just 11 City games, and had a part in five of the Blues' six goals against United. He is the first Premier League player to score three consecutive hat-tricks in as many home games, and United simply couldn't cope with him in his first derby.
Typically understated, Haaland prefers to play down his achievements, and he reflected on his latest hat-trick with a two-word answer when speaking directly after the full-time whistle.

"Not bad," he told Sky Sports when asked to give his thoughts on the display. "We scored six goals, what can you say? It's amazing to win at home, score six goals here, it's nice."
Haaland then opened up on his love of playing for this City team, noting how their relentless drive to attack is helping him enjoy life at the club since his summer arrival.
He said: "You can feel it all the time, you see the passes we give each other. We always want to go forward and we always want to attack. This is what I love about the team, we always want to attack. It's amazing."
Fellow hat-trick hero Phil Foden also noted his growing connection with Haaland, as he scored two of his goals from Haaland assists.
"Obviously it's a dream come true playing the derby as a City fan," he said. "Me and Erling have built that connection now, we're finding each other. It's been a pleasure being a part of this team. Our determination from kick-off, we was looking right at it, we finished our chances."
