Erling Haaland has already shattered Premier League records since joining Manchester City in the summer - and now the prolific forward is sharpening up his 'weaker' foot ahead of his first Manchester derby this weekend.
Haaland has made an electric start to life in England following his £51million switch to the champions. And Manchester United will become the latest team to be tasked with nullifying a man who has already plundered 14 goals in just 10 games this term.
But it has now emerged that Haaland, who bagged 86 goals in 89 games during his two-and-a-half-year stint at Borussia Dortmund, has even been putting in extra work ahead of Sunday's crunch clash, according to a new report.
The Mail have outlined that Haaland has been ramping up his efforts to try and improve his right foot, with the 22-year-old determined to do whatever he can to ensure his weaker side can be utilised efficiently on a regular basis.
Haaland spent plenty of time working with Dortmund coach and former Bayern Munich striker Alexander Zickler in a bid to hone his ability with his weaker foot.
Zickler had identified the lack of goals Haaland has bagged thought his career with his right foot (just 15) as an area the striker could improve upon after he joined the club, and the duo had put in plenty of work in the form of extra sessions in the 12 months prior to Haaland's big move.

Haaland has continued to build on that work at the Etihad - even though the prolific forward already looks a certainty to outgun his Premier League rivals in the race for the golden boot.
The training has already yielded results on these shores, too; Haaland has bagged two goals with his right foot so far this term - including a fine strike he netted from outside the box in City's win over Wolves prior to the international break.
Haaland's extra training is unlikely to make life any easier for Manchester United, who themselves were long-term admirers of the former RB Salzburg star. However, it emerged this week that United failed to make the seven-team shortlist that Haaland and his team drew up as they mulled over his next move.
United boss Erik ten Hag will appreciate Haaland's bid to strengthen his weaker peg more than most - as the Dutchman put some of his stars through similar sessions weeks ago.
A number of high-profile players were put through specific drills targeting their weaker foots by Ten Hag, including England left-back Luke Shaw.
Ten Hag had overseen an upturn in results before the international break following a disastrous start to the season, but Saturday's trip to the Etihad represents the former Ajax chief's toughest task to date.
