It’s fair to say Erling Haaland is getting firmly ingrained with Manchester City this summer.
The former Borussia Dortmund superstar will, of course, become a City player this summer after the two clubs agreed a deal for the 21-year-old. The transfer was announced by City last month, and will be completed when the transfer window opens in July.
And Haaland has been getting himself in the mood for life at the Etihad as he’s continued his spectacular form. The striker was in action on Sunday night for Norway as they took on neighbours Sweden, and he certainly didn’t disappoint any of the City fans watching on with interest.

Haaland scored twice to secure a 2-1 win for his country, following on from his winner against Serbia just a few days earlier. But more than his goals, City fans will have loved the way in which their new talisman prepared for the game.
Haaland shared a video of himself listening to Oasis classic Wonderwall as he sat in the dressing room ahead of kick-off. No doubt that will endear himself to his new club and two of most famous fans, the Gallagher brothers.
Although he hasn’t yet been officially unveiled by the Blues, the striker’s video could be an indication that the confirmation is not too far away. Haaland is set to be become a City player on July 1, before he links up with his new team-mates for their pre-season preparations.
Having got himself on the scoresheet once again, the celebrations continued in the dressing room after the game, with Haaland dancing to ‘Der Haaland’ – a song made especially for him. City fans will likely be looking to get that on the playlist as well next season.
