Manchester City could be without star striker Erling Haaland for the first time since the Norwegian's move from Borussia Dortmund in the summer for Saturday's trip to Leicester City after the 22-year-old was withdrawn against his former employers with an injury on Tuesday evening.
The forward has already scored an astonishing 22 goals in 16 appearances for City with their Champions League trip to Copenhagen the only match Haaland hasn't featured in thus far and will therefore be a major absentee if he is ultimately ruled out of City's clash with the Foxes.
This news will not only be a significant disappointment for City supporters but also Fantasy Premier League players with the striker one of the top points scorers in the game so far this season.

But what suitable alternatives are out there should FPL players fold and transfer out Haaland of their team for Gameweek 14 in case he is absent on Saturday?
Roberto Firmino (£8.1m)
It could be argued that the early season Firmino renaissance is coming to an end with the Brazilian without a Premier League goal in three matches. However, the 31-year-old has netted six goals and provided three assists in 10 league appearances this term.
To put that tally into perspective, the Liverpool striker scored just five times in the top flight during the entirety of last season, providing four assists in the process.
After a dominant 3-0 victory against Ajax in the Champions League during the week, the Reds turn their attention to hosting a Leeds United side winless in eight league games. On paper, it could be a good opportunity for Firmino to get his name back on the scoresheet.
Gabriel Jesus (£8.0m)
Although over half of FPL users (58.9%) already have Jesus in their side, those looking for a Haaland replacement that don't already have Arsenal's front man in their side should follow the crowd and put their faith in the Gunners' go-to goalscorer.
Granted, Jesus is without a goal in three league appearances. However, Mikel Arteta's men host a Nottingham Forest side who are bottom of the table, yet to win on the road this season and have the league's third-most leaky defence, conceding 23 goals in 12 matches.
The league leaders will be looking to brush off dropping points for just the second time in the Premier League this season when drawing 1-1 at Southampton last weekend whilst their summer signing from Manchester City will be looking to add to his five goals and four assists in the league thus far.
Aleksander Mitrovic (£6.9m)
There will undoubtedly be FPL players who have built their teams around a strike partnership of Haaland and Mitrovic with the duo the Premier League's current top scorers with 17 and nine goals respectively.
Seventh placed Fulham host 12th placed Everton on Saturday afternoon and you would certainly back the Serbian to find the back of the net in his current form.
With 26.8% of users currently having Mitrovic in their team, it's an obvious shout but if you don't currently have the 28-year-old in your team, get him in.
