Ten Hag sends message to United
Incoming manager Erik ten Hag has taken charge of Ajax for the final time with the Dutchman preparing to take his first steps into the Manchester United hot-seat.
Ajax ended their last season under title-winning manager Ten Hag with a 2-2 draw against Vitesse. Having taken an early lead through Brian Brobbey, the Amsterdam side needed Edson Alvarez's late equaliser to ensure that Ten Hag did not end his time in charge on a rare losing note.

Sancho delivers verdict on Ten Hag
Jadon Sancho admits that he is looking forward to working with incoming manager Ten Hag at Old Trafford.
The 52-year-old was officially installed as United's new permanent manager in April following months of speculation about who would replace Ralf Rangnick this summer. The Dutchman was identified as the club's preferred candidate and they successfully reached an agreement with him to prize him away from Ajax.
Renowned for delivering consistent success with the Amsterdam outfit, Ten Hag will be gunning for similar returns once he gets his feet under the table at Old Trafford. However, this promises to be the biggest job of his career, so far, with huge changes needed to be made across the board this summer - following a dismal 2021/22 campaign for the Premier League giants.
