Marcel Sabitzer's agent has warned Erik ten Hag his new player is an "unpleasant person" when he isn't getting his desired number of minutes on the pitch.
It was supposed to be an uneventful deadline day for Manchester United but that all changed when it was revealed Christian Eriksen was set to be sidelined until late April after being on the wrong end of a wild Andy Carroll tackle in Saturday's win over Reading. Once the extent of the Dane's injury was known, United moved swiftly to draft in a replacement.
That saw versatile midfielder Sabitzer arrive on loan from Bayern Munich until the end of the season. There is no option to make the deal permanent.

With Casemiro and Bruno Fernandes' places in the side nailed down, Sabitzer will likely be competing for Eriksen's vacant spot alongside Fred and the currently injured Scott McTominay but the 28-year-old apparently won't be best pleased if he finds himself down the pecking order.
Roger Wittmann, Sabitzer's agent, offered an insight into his client's mentality and how much he wants to be a regular starter. "[He's] the most unpleasant person to be around when he's not playing," Wittmann said, via Goal. "He hates it when he loses. That's the bottom line. Character-wise, the kid is a killer. That's what players who always want to win look like."
On his move to Old Trafford, Sabitzer said: “Sometimes in life you have to make quick and important decisions. From the moment I heard about this opportunity I knew it was right for me. I am a competitive player; I want to win and help the club achieve its aims this season.
“I feel that I am at my peak as a player and that I can contribute a lot of experience and energy to the squad. I am excited to start with my new teammates and manager and to show my qualities to Manchester United fans.”
