Erik ten Hag is excited to take on Liverpool in his first match in charge as the new Manchester United manager. The rivals will clash in the Thailand capital of Bangkok on Tuesday.
The new United boss believes playing Liverpool will be a 'good test' for his side after the Reds won both matches last season, 5-0 and 4-0.
Dutchman Ten Hag has revealed Cristiano Ronaldo is not for sale despite not travelling to Bangkok with his team-mates after rumours he wanted to force a move away from United. Ronaldo is reportedly unhappy at the lack of Champions League football.

United's manager said in his press conference in Bangkok: "Yes, playing against Liverpool is always exciting. Man United vs Liverpool is a big game and it's a really good test for us.
"The standard of Manchester United is to win every game. We are happy to play this game here in Bangkok for the many fans."
Ronaldo's absence in Thailand has been put down to personal reasons and Ten Hag was asked about that: "So he's not with us. That's due to personal issues. We are planning with Ronaldo for this season - that's it. I'm looking forward to working with him.
"He hasn't told me (he wants to leave) this. I have read, but as I say, Cristiano is not for sale, he's in our plans and we want to get success together. I spoke with him before this issue came up. I had a conversation with him and had a real good talk."
