Tammy Abraham has shone for Roma since calling time on his Chelsea career last year and is now the subject of interest from the Blues' Premier League rivals Manchester United.
Erik ten Hag may have to contact someone who knows all about the Old Trafford hot seat to try and get any deal done though, as ex-Red Devils manager Jose Mourinho is now in the dug-out for the Serie A giants.
Abraham took to life in Italy seamlessly last term, bagging 17 goals in the league alone as well as nine goals in a triumphant Europa Conference League campaign. A single goal in the Italian domestic cup took his overall tally to an impressive 27 across all competitions.
Things haven't gone quite as well in the opening exchanges of this term, with Abraham registering just two goals in the opening 10 Serie A fixtures. Despite this, United are reportedly still interested in trying to entice the striker back to the English top flight.
Next summer seems like a better time to try and reach an agreement over a potential switch, as Roma are expected to be reluctant to even contemplate Abraham's departure in January when there is still so much to play for at that stage of the season.
By the time the next summer transfer window comes around, Abraham will still have three full years left to run on his Roma contract. In turn, United would have to present Mourinho's side with quite the offer given they are in a position where they hardly need to sell any time soon.
Ten Hag is thought to have made a centre-forward his priority signing come the end of the season as United have struggled desperately in front of goal since he first took the reins.

As things stand, United sit fifth in the Premier League table but are the worst outfit in the top 10 when it comes to goals scored. Ten Hag's troops have netted just 13 this season, less than half the amount of local rivals Manchester City who currently sit on 33 goals scored.
The most recent outing at Old Trafford saw United fail to find the back of the net during a 0-0 draw with Newcastle that saw the hosts spurn plenty of chances, even with Cristiano Ronaldo starting.
The 37-year-old's goal record has been so reliable down the years, but this season appears to mark the beginning of the end of the five-time Ballon d'Or winner's ruthless run, with Ronaldo sitting on a miserable record of one goal in eight league games this term.
Abraham is viewed as one player who could do what the likes of Ronaldo, Marcus Rashford and Jadon Sancho are all currently failing to do - score goals on a regular basis.
