Manchester United boss Erik ten Hag is seemingly planning a third swoop on former club Ajax alongside a mega-money move for Tottenham hotshot Harry Kane.
The Dutchman has already enjoyed a productive first season at the helm at Old Trafford. He has led the Red Devils to the Carabao Cup, whilst they are also in contention for the Europa League and a place in the Premier League top four come the end of the campaign.
Whilst questions remain over the current ownership situation at the club, plans are already being put in place for the upcoming summer transfer window. As per talkSPORT, Ajax star Mohammed Kudus is among the Red Devils’ targets.
The Ghanaian has shone for the Dutch side this season with 17 goals in all competitions. The 22-year-old also courted attention at the World Cup in Qatar as he scored twice in a group stage victory over South Korea.
Previous reports have suggested that Kudus would garner a price tag of around £48m with just over two years remaining on his contract. Man Utd are not the only Premier League side to have been linked with a move for the forward.
Everton were reportedly close to sealing a deal for his services in the summer, whilst Liverpool have also been linked with a move. Kudus would not be the only man to complete a move from Amsterdam to Old Trafford since the arrival of Ten Hag.

Lisandro Martinez and Antony both followed their former boss to Manchester for a combined fee of £140m. Kudus has already opened up on a potential move away from Ajax in the future but remained tight-lipped over what his eventual aspirations are.
Speaking in December 2022, he said: “I am a player who likes to challenge himself. This is my third season here. We’ll see what the future brings. The most important thing is that I just keep performing for the team and the rest will follow naturally later.”
Kudus is not the only forward that the Red Devils are considering ahead of the summer transfer window, however. Spurs forward Kane has been a long-term target for the Red Devils as they aim to take advantage of his contractual situation.
The England captain’s current deal with Tottenham expires in the summer of 2024. However, United are aware that it would be difficult to tempt Spurs into selling even if the north London side miss out on a place in the Champions League next term - hence why Kudus is also being considered.
Kane has enjoyed another brilliant season. He has scored another 20 goals in all competitions so far this season and has become Spurs' all-time leading goalscorer.
