Players return to Carrington from World Cup
The nine Manchester United players who suffered elimination from the World Cup at the quarter-final stage have returned for training. United's Brazilian, Portuguese and English contingent, as well as Dutchman Tyrell Malacia, all reported to the club's Carrington training complex on Tuesday morning.
United trio Casemiro, Fred and Antony were all on the pitch when Brazil were eliminated by Croatia via a penalty shootout and Portugal pair Bruno Fernandes and Diogo Dalot started in their 1-0 defeat to Morocco the following day as Argentina went on to win the tournament with Lisandro Martinez.

Harry Maguire and Luke Shaw started in all five of England's matches in Qatar while Marcus Rashford scored three goals in his five appearances to underline his domestic form.
Kompany sends warning before United game
Burnley manager Vincent Kompany is relishing the Carabao Cup fourth round game with Manchester United at Old Trafford on Wednesday night (8pm) - insisting that he wants his players to try and test themselves.
Kompany, who spent 11 years at Manchester City as a player, took charge at Turf Moor during the summer following relegation from the Premier League and currently has them topping the Championship table. Saturday's 3-1 win over Middlesbrough ensured they will occupy top spot for Christmas.
Burnley saw off Shrewsbury and Crawley Town in the earlier rounds to book a date with United - and have just lost two of their opening 25 games under the Belgian in all competitions, meaning he has made an unimaginable impact. They are only three points shy of the 50-point mark at the halfway point of the Championship campaign.
