Erik ten Hag addresses Jadon Sancho's absence from United squad
Manchester United manager Erik ten Hag believes it was the right decision for Jadon Sancho to spend time away from the team after the England ace scored on his return to Premier League action on Wednesday night.
Sancho had spent time in the Netherlands working on an individual training programme with coaches recommended to him by Ten Hag. Prior to the Reds' 2-2 draw with Leeds United in midweek, the 22-year-old had not featured in the Premier League since October.

However, he returned to the set-up in recent weeks and the former Borussia Dortmund man scored the equaliser for United in midweek. The home side came back from 2-0 down to draw 2-2 with Leeds thanks to goals from Marcus Rashford and Sancho.
United manager Erik ten Hag issues Aaron Wan-Bissaka update
Erik ten Hag is hopeful that Aaron Wan-Bissaka will be able to return to the Manchester United squad for Sunday's Premier League clash with Leeds United.
The defender missed the 2-2 draw with Leeds on Wednesday night through illness, with Diogo Dalot returning at right-back after being sidelined with an injury. While Wan-Bissaka was absent for the reverse fixture at Old Trafford, Ten Hag is hopeful that the 25-year-old could feature at Elland Road.
Prior to the game in midweek, the former Crystal Palace man had started 11 of United’s 12 games across all competitions since the World Cup break. He endured a difficult first half of the season, but was impressive while Dalot was out of action.
