Justin Herbert threw an errant pass in the final minute of the third quarter on Saturday. It wound up in the hands of the Houston Texans’ Eric Murry and the home team was up 14 after the pick-six and PAT.
The Chargers scored the first six points of the wild-card game but Houston responded with the next 20.
The game was headed to the fourth quarter with Houston up 20-6.
Murray’s return went for 38 yards. It was the first pick-six of his NFL career. He was drafted by the Kansas City Chiefs out of Minnesota in 2016.
Took it to the crib! @HoustonTexans extend their lead.
