Manchester United centre back Eric Bailly has already hinted at leaving Old Trafford should he not receive the game time he expects.
The Ivorian defender has struggled domestically this season for United having made just seven appearances in all competitions. Bailly has not featured for United since before the Africa Cup of Nations when he played 66 minutes in a victory over Burnley.
His plea for more game time took an extraordinary step in April when a fan asked for the 28-year-old to start alongside Raphael Varane for United, subsequently dropping Harry Maguire to the bench. Bailly decided to respond to the forward with the comment 'please', followed by a laughing emoji and a pair of praying hands.

Bailly's contract at the Theatre of Dreams expires in 2024 but the defender has already made it clear last year what he would do if he was struggling to receive the minutes he wishes. Speaking after signing a new contract in 2021, he said: "Competition is always good to improve.
"I just say that I want to stay in case I get the chance to play. I don’t want to be a starter one game and a substitute for another five.
"If that happens I will have to look for another solution. The new contract is fine but if I don’t play I will be open to listen to other proposals."
MEN Sport revealed last month that Bailly had informed his current teammates at Carrington that he wished to leave the club this summer. Phil Jones has also made his thoughts about moving away from United clear to his colleagues.
