Tipperary legend Eoin Kelly has been added to Davy Fitzgerald’s management team in Waterford.
Kelly will come on board as a selector having served a similar role in his native county under Liam Sheedy up to last year.
Fitzgerald and Kelly have worked closely together before, with the Clare man leading LIT to the Fitzgibbon Cup in 2005 as he cut his managerial teeth, a team that Kelly was captain of as the college won the competition for the first time.

Also confirmed as a selector is former Waterford midfielder Peter Queally, who was also part of Fitzgerald’s management team during his previous stint in charge of the Deise from 2008-11.
Queally has been active on the club circuit in the intervening years, with his most recent managerial stint coming with Roanmore, who he guided to last year’s Waterford county final.
He stood down as manager after the club suffered an 11-point defeat to Ballygunner in last Sunday’s semi-final, with the new management team set to take in this Sunday’s final as the reigning All-Ireland champions go for a ninth Waterford crown in succession against Mount Sion.
