Eoin Bradley has weekend to remember as he leads Glenullin and Glenavon to glory

Eoin Bradley showed that age really is only a number as he had a weekend to remember.

The 38-year-old scored one and had another ruled out in Glenavon's 4-2 win over Carrick Rangers in the Danske Bank Premiership on Saturday.

Only 24 hours later 'Skinner' was starring for Glenullin scoring four points as they won the Derry Intermediate football final beating Drumsurn 0-15 to 1-11.

It sealed a first championship success for Glenullin since 2007 when Eoin's brother Paddy knocked over the winning point.

He is now managing the side completing a remarkable turnaround when they could have quite easily been playing junior football this season such was Glenullin's recent fall from grace.

But the Bradleys have helped complete something of a fairy tale return to success for the club as they now prepare for the Ulster Championships.

The siblings took to social media after the game with Paddy letting his feelings be known about his brother, tweeting a picture of the two of them with the trophy with the heading "The Goat".

Rather tongue-in-cheek Skinner tweeted: "I'd like to announce my retirement from County football #over+out."

As he continues to impress with his performances for Glenavon and Glenullin I'm sure it will be a while before he does decide to call it a day.
