Ensure uninterrupted power supply to hospitals: Lokesh

Telugu Desam Party (TDP) national general secretary N. Lokesh has held the Andhra Pradesh government responsible for the critical condition of a woman and three infants at the Ruia Hospital in Tirupati.

In a statement on Monday, Mr. Lokesh expressed concern that the condition of the woman and infants turned critical following alleged stoppage of power supply to the operation theatre for over two hours on Sunday.

“Power supply was stopped when the woman and infants were in a critical condition on the operation table. The ongoing power cuts across the State are causing a lot of suffering to the people,” he said, adding that the State government must ensure uninterrupted power supply to hospitals.
