Wherever you are, I hope it’s a pleasant day. Head outside, take a walk, touch some grass as they say. Because a week from today, football will be in full swing, thus giving you something else to do each Sunday.
Next Sunday the Raiders travel to Los Angeles to take on the rival Chargers in their first game of the 2024 season. And it’s football every week (but one) until January.
Preparations for the opener have already begun, but actual game week begins on Wednesday when the Raiders take the practice field and the first official injury report comes out.
That’s when the grind really begins. From there it’s 17 games over 18 weeks and the hopes of continuing to play games well after that.
