English stand-up comedian Maisie Adam brings new show to Belfast

Popular English comedian Maisie Adam is bringing her successful stand-up tour to Belfast this year.

Rapidly becoming a household name, and fresh from Live at The Apollo, A League of Their Own, Mock the Week and The Last Leg, Edinburgh Best Newcomer nominee Maisie is taking the nation by storm.

Rammed with witty observations, high-octane energy and some right good jokes, this show promises to be "better than whatever else you had planned".

She will be performing at Limelight in the city on March 2 2023.

Maisie performed her first proper stand-up show in 2016. A few short months later she won the UK’s largest stand-up contest, and is now breaking through to the big time with recent appearances on Have I Got News for You, A League of Their Own, 8 Out of 10 Cats Does Countdown and Mock the Week.

Her comedy career properly kicked off in 2017, when she won the nationwide So You Think You're Funny? competition (which was previously won by many of her comedy heroes, including Peter Kay, Aisling Bea and Tom Allen). She is the fourth woman to have done so in its 30-year history.

The following year, Maisie was nominated for the Best Newcomer award at the Edinburgh Comedy Awards for her debut show Vague, where she also won the Amused Moose National Comic Award.
