Newcastle United are reportedly set to travel to Glasgow to face Celtic in a pre-season friendly in July.
The Parkhead side recently secured their fourth consecutive Scottish Premiership title with an emphatic 5-0 win over Dundee United at Tannadice.
Although they still have five games remaining in the current season, including the Scottish Cup final, plans are already being put in place for the 2025/26 campaign.

Indeed, Eddie Howe will bring his Newcastle team, who recently ended the club's 70-year trophy drought by winning the EFL Cup, to Glasgow in July, with a friendly being 'lined up', claims The iPaper.
The sides hope it will be a 'curtain raiser' for their respective Champions League campaigns.
Newcastle remain on course to qualify for next season's version of the competition, while Celtic will have to navigate a two-legged play-off to gain entry to the lucrative league phase.
They face Rangers this Sunday in the final Glasgow derby of the campaign.
With his side having lost the previous two meetings with their city rivals, Brendan Rodgers knows his side must turn up at the weekend: "It's so important," he said.
"Rangers were very good in the first half when we played them at Celtic Park.
"We were too slow. The comfort in the game was not good. In the second half, we were much better. Celtic vs Rangers, no matter what it is, Rangers Celtic, it means everything.
"So we need to go and perform next week again. But we can get those messages through during the week."
