England return to World Cup action and will be looking to build on their winning start after thrashing Iran in their Group B opener when they face USA at the Al Bayt Stadium. USA were left frustrated after dropping two points against Wales after conceding a penalty late on which was converted by Gareth Bale.
Gareth Southgate's side are 8/15 favourites with Betfred ahead of their second group stage match while USA are 6/1 outsiders and a draw is 16/5. Surprisingly, England have never beaten Team USMNT in their previous two meetings at the FIFA World Cup with USA winning 1-0 in 1950 and then securing a 1-1 draw in 2010.
The Three Lions got off to the perfect start with a solid 6-2 win over Iran while USA could only manage a 1-1 despite dominating the majority of their match against Wales. A win for Southgate's side could secure them a place in the round of 16 depending on how results go in the Wales vs Iran match.
