The first edition of the Women’s Finalissima takes place tonight between England and Brazil.
Sarina Wiegman’s all-conquering side booked their place in this fixture after winning the Euros on home soil last summer, and the Lionesses are favourites to keep that winning feeling going as they face the South American champions.
England have still not tasted defeat under Wiegman, a run that included a 2-1 victory over the USA at Wembley in October.

With the focus increasingly shifting to this summer’s World Cup, victory here over Brazil would further raise hopes that England are ready to deliver on the biggest stage in Australia and New Zealand.
