England U21 are without Jacob Ramsey for today’s European Under-21 Championship semi-final with Israel, with Emile Smith Rowe getting the nod.
The Young Lions face Israel in Batumi, knowing they will earn a place in Saturday’s final against either Spain or Ukraine if they win.
But Aston Villa’s Ramsey will play no further part in the tournament after injuring his ankle in the quarter-final win over Portugal and eventually leaving the stadium on crutches.
In the only other change, Noni Madueke drops to the bench with Cole Palmer starts.

Full-backs Max Aarons and Ben Johnson are suspended after collecting too many yellow cards meaning left-back Luke Thomas comes into the side.
Elsewhere, Anthony Gordon and Morgan Gibbs-White start again after superb campaigns so far for Lee Carsley’s team.
Wins over the Czech Republic, Israel and Germany in the group stage made it the first time ever when England had won all three group games at this competition.
It also means they have precedent at beating their semi-final opponents Israel, who they dispatched 2-0 last weekend thanks to goals by Gordon and Smith Rowe.
England are twice winners of the U21 Euros but have not lifted the trophy since 1984.
