Exeter winger Jack Nowell was powerless to help his teammates this afternoon, as he watched from the Thomond Park stands - in a full Munster kit.
The England and Lions star took the trip over to Limerick to support his teammates, and squeeze in his stag-do at the same time. And when Nowell appeared on the big screen at Thomond Park flanked by teammates including Luke Cowan-Dickie and Sam Simmonds, the Exeter man tried meekly to hide the Munster crest on his shirt.
Many saw the funny side in the situation and Nowell is receiving plenty of praise online for being such a good sport.
Nowell has been out with a broken arm since sustaining the injury in the last game of the 2022 Six Nations tournament away to France in Paris.
Exeter could have used their fleet footed winger today as they struggled to breakdown a dogged Munster defence on their way to a 26-10 drubbing at Thomond Park.
