Football fans across the United Kingdom were understandably frustrated after missing today's initial World Cup 2022 kick-off between England and Iran, as the BBC iPlayer appeared to stop working.
Viewers trying to watch the highly anticipated game online were greeted with an error message, reading: "Sorry, it looks like something's not working right now."
It then asked users to in-turn try again in 'a few minutes', but some reported that they were only able to get onto the stream around ten minutes after the ball was first played at the Khalifa International Stadium in Doha.
