Endurance sporstwear brand Huub teams with Umbro to launch England Rugby cycling range

An endurance sporstwear brand which has teamed up with Umbro to launch a range of bespoke England Rugby cycling clothes.

Derby-based HUUB worked with England Rugby’s official technical kit partner to create the short-sleeve and long-sleeve cycling jerseys replicating the current white home and red alternate England men’s shirts.

The unisex cycling gear also includes two different coloured bib shorts, all carrying the England Rugby, Umbro and HUUB logos.

Huub was founded in 2011 by Dean Jackson to make endurance clothing and accessories such as wetsuits, triathlon suits, cycle wear, goggles and rucksacks.

In the past couple of years it has won hundreds of thousands of pounds of investment and has been worn by Olympic gold medallists, Ironman champions and amateur athletes.

Mr Jackson said: “We couldn’t be more excited with this collaboration.

“Umbro has a rich history in providing sporting apparel to athletes, individuals and teams, and in that time has developed well-respected partnerships.

“Being asked to join them on the England Rugby cycling project is testament to our efforts in innovation within the sporting arena of endurance sports.

“As recipients of the Queen’s Award for Innovation, we truly value every extra enhancement we can bring to athletes of all abilities. It’s a proud day for HUUB.”

Scott Watson, Umbro’s head of sports marketing for Rugby and F1 said: “We are delighted to launch this bespoke England Rugby cycling range in collaboration with HUUB.

“Like HUUB we have a focus on performance and innovation, and we are excited to see England Rugby fans showing their support while out on the road.”

The England Rugby cycling range is available on the Huub website and start from £84.99.
