Emotional Stacey Solomon left 'shell shocked' at work as she struggles to speak amid time away from home

Stacey Solomon has told fans how she was left 'shell shocked' after heading out to work to film a currently undisclosed advert. The Loose Women star has a hectic work schedule at the moment as she films two TV shows at the same time amid other commitments.

Stacey, 33, previously explained how the show would have been filmed earlier but she had to push the dates back due to giving birth to her and her husband Joe Swash's third child together, daughter Belle, back in February.

And over the weekend, the mum-of-five said she was feeling "emotional" about flying away from her family as she had to film Sort Your Life Out in Scotland. She explained at the time that her flight across the country was only the first of six flights she was due to take this week as she's kept busy with work and "family bits in between".

Stacey's latest stint at her Essex abode came on Wednesday (July 5) and she appeared on her Instagram Story to chat with her loyal followers while cradling her five-month-old daughter in a sling. She said: "So many of you were like, 'I thought you were in Scotland today?' I was in Scotland, I literally got back at 2am because I've got to go to work at 3."

She went on to say: "I've got work then I've got to go back to Scotland and then I'm staying there until Sunday morning which will be the longest I've been away from Rex, Rose and Belle ever. I'm a bit sad... I'm not sad actually. I feel a bit emotional. I think I'm tired anyway.

"The family are so deserving and so lovely and I can't wait to sort their hours out and show them their house but yeah, I miss the kids so much. I think I'm a bit emotional as well because I'm really tired at the moment which makes me more emotional. So that's why I've got her [Belle] in the sling today because I've only got a few hours before I got back to Scotland so I just feel like I need her right next to me. I would do Rose as well but she won't have it any more."

Realising she didn't sound like her usual, bubbly self while struggling to speak, Stacey added: "Oh god, I sound a bit low don't I? Sorry. I'm trying to squeeze in these cuddles when I can [and I'm] feeling a bit emotional about it."

But later, Stacey was left giggling as she shared some details about the job she flew back to England for and admitted to being 'shell shocked'. Speaking to the camera from the car as she was driven home, the former X Factor star Stacey said: "I am just on my way back from work and I feel shell shocked, to be honest. I wasn't expecting it to be what it was.

"When my agent first told me what it was, I was asked whether I used a product and whether I'd do an advert for it. I said yeah, that would be amazing. I had a meeting with the company - they asked me where I use it.

"I said, I usually just use it on the toilet. When I am alone and can have a little bit of me time. They said 'great'. We will just film you like that - really natural, however you do it. So I thought I'd go to somebody's house and film it and give them the content and that would be that. But how wrong I was."

Stacey went on to explain: "Everything is done on an iPhone now but it was a full-on movie set with a clapperboard saying 'action!' It was an actual movie. I was filming a movie and my role was just to sit on the toilet in front of so many people. I lost my confidence. My mouth went dry. I felt like I was filming a scene in the Titanic. There were hundreds of crew and people. I was waiting for Leonardo DiCaprio to fetch me from the toilet! I really need to start reading those briefs properly."

Sharing a snap from the set, which she posted alongside the iconic Titanic tune, Stacey wrote: "This is literally one-quarter of the room of people. It was a full 360+ of people. This was my bath scene. Yep, toilet and bath. FML." alongside a crying with laughter emoji and added: "I just was not prepared."

In the video, the set could be seen filled with people before showing the previously mentioned clapper board on a screen, which was then removed to see Stacey sitting in a bath. The camera then panned to her more clearly in the tub alongside a sound man who was holding a microphone about her.
