Dreams really can come true.
For Ewan McVicar they did on Saturday night.
The Ayr DJ made an emotional homecoming by playing in front of 7,500 fans at his very own Pavilion Festival, at the Low Green.
It's a night that has been in the making for months, but one that the DJ and producer used to envision back when he was starting off on his glittering career.
It was 2017 when Ewan last got behind the decks on home turf. Now flash forward five years and he stood as the headliner of a festival that had been on the go since midday.
A huge roar met the star who grabbed the mic and told fans "yous are all f****** legends," he later added, "I hope this is the start of many."
After a set full of pyrotechnics, lights and hit 'Tell Me Something Good', Ewan jumped off the stage to be with fans, taking in every moment.
And the emotional DJ told Ayrshire Live: "That was f****** unreal, it was a dream come true."
Ewan stole the show with a set mixed with some of his earliest material along with classics from the STREETrave era, ahead of their takeover on Sunday.
Acid house smileys, old clips of gigs from a bygone era appeared on LED screens along four turrets used to replicate the Ayr Pavilion - once the home of rave music, and where STREETrave all began.
Ewan signed off with his very own Ode to Kincaidston, recent release 'Heather Park' as confetti rained down on the crowd.
