Emmerdale 's Charity Dingle could "kill" Mackenzie Boyd when she uncovers his baby lie, This Morning's soap expert Sharon Marshall has teased.
The soap writer, who recently revealed she was leaving her Emmerdale storyline writing role, questioned the cast about a looming twist.
Charity and Mackenzie are set to tie the knot this week, while there is a ticking time bomb in the form of Mack's secret baby news.
Mack slept with Chloe Harris last year and she fell pregnant, with the character going into labour during Wednesday's episode.
Chloe is due to give birth on Thursday night just as Mack and Charity hope to get married - while viewers will have to tune in to find out if it all goes ahead.
With Charity and Mack cutting it fine, Mack soon learns about Chloe being in labour and vanishes - but will the truth finally come out?
During a behind-the-scenes shoot with This Morning on Thursday, Sharon spoke to some of the cast about the big baby lie.
It's then that she teased Charity could "kill" her partner when she finds out his shocking lie, and she wasn't the only one suggesting it.
While she may have been speaking figuratively, others also joked that it could end in tears for Mack when Charity finds out.
Charles Anderson actor Kevin Mathurin joked that there was a funeral being lined up in the episodes, and that it could be for Mack.
As Sharon said to Nate Robinson actor Jurell Carter about Charity killing Mack, he agreed that Charity would "kill him" if she knew the truth.
As others said "anything could happen" and someone questioned if the bride will kill her partner, Sharon finished with: "Good luck, he's certainly gonna need it when Charity finds out."
It comes as the soap's Executive Producer Jane Hudson revealed the big secret would finally be exposed very soon.
She told us: "There's Charity, Chloe and Mackenzie. We all know there's a big secret that is due to come out which is he's got a baby and it's Chloe's. So the question is when is it gonna come out?
"It is soon, very soon and there's a big choice for Mack. Does he want to be a dad or does he want to be a husband, and can he be both or not? And how is Charity gonna respond? We know she is fiery... can Chloe remain in that village when that secret comes out?
"Because we know it's not going to be nice with the wrath of the Dingles against her."
Emmerdale airs weeknights at 7:30pm on ITV1 and ITVX, with an hour-long episode on Thursdays.
