Emmerdale fans will be reduced to tears next week, as the ITV soap airs its special flashforward week.
According to soap writer Sharon Marshall, one of the big episodes will make viewers cry - with those who have read the scripts informing her that there are emotional scenes ahead.
Details on the scenes are being kept under wraps until transmission, with so much yet to be confirmed.
Speaking on This Morning on Tuesday, Sharon told hosts Holly Willoughby and Phillip Schofield about the upcoming episodes and what is in store.
She initially read out: "A flashforward opens this special week of episodes. In the gloom we see a misty graveyard with an open grave.
"We see and hear the slamming of an iron police cell door and we hear a gunshot ringing out in the woods before panning up to see a smoking crumpled car steaming in the gloom having just had a terrible accident… But who is inside and what does it all mean?
"In this week of time continuous episodes there are brief glimpses (flashforwards) of future scenes at the start of each showing and soon it will all become clear..."
She then teased: "People have read it and they said it's amazing, and one of the episodes apparently makes you cry."
The flashforward week sees several characters taking centre stage on the ITV soap, as storylines collide and come to a head.
Faith Dingle's secret is set to be exposed, with her tipped for a heart-to-heart with daughter-in-law Moira Dingle.
So will this be what leads to the tears from fans, and what exactly is she hiding?
There's also major hints of a death, with several stunts taking place - including a possible shooting, a car wreck, a scary showdown and a body in the woods.
So perhaps viewers will be crying out of sadness for a lost character! Viewers will have to tune in all of next week to find out.
