Emmerdale viewers have taken Rishi's side as Jai lashed out at him after he found out that he was adopted. Last night Jai's day went from one of the happiest days to the worst after getting engaged to Laurel then finding out Rishi was not his biological father.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV hit soap Jai wasted no time in expressing his feelings as he lashed out at Rishi and Laurel was left worried that he would turn back to drugs.
Jai went straight to Rishi and told him how he found out that he’d found the adoption papers but Rishi insisted that he hid the news for his best interest.

Rishi insisted that Jai’s mum is his biological mum and his father was a mistaken one night stand, who vanished before he was born.
Despite Rishi reassuring Jai, he was still not happy and continued to shout at his dad. Jai insisted that there was more to the story and wanted to call his mum to get more answers but Rishi advised against it.
Jai’s mum, Georgia left the village in 2015 after she had an affair with Rodney Blackstock. The fact that Rishi didn’t want to ring Georgia, it made Jai even more suspicious.
Fans were left fuming at the way Jai spoke to Rishi as they went straight to twitter to share their reaction, with a rude two word verdict: he's a 'selfish k***'.
