Emmerdale viewers spot massive plot hole in Leyla's abduction

Emmerdale viewers spotted a massive plot hole in Leyla's abduction storyline.

Drug dealer Callum has held Leyla hostage for days after he caught wind of her plans to inform the police of his wrongdoings. After a violent attack which saw her and pal Suzy knocked out with a brick, things have taken a drastic turn.

Suzy managed to escape and call for help but Leyla was swiftly moved to a new location. As the days have gone by, her health has deteriorated to the extent she can barely speak or open her eyes.

Leyla tried to make a run for it in tonight's episode, but was eventually tackled to the ground by Callum who promised her there was no way back. She waved and screamed for help but her son, Jacob, and Suzy accidentally drove past her, leaving viewers questioning how such a violent scene was missed entirely by the pair.

One viewer said: "Absolutely no way that Jacob and Suzy didn't hear Leyla before Callum came and floored her, they could've heard her in Weatherfield." Another added: "How didn’t Jacob and Suzi not see Leyla through the car mirrors."

While a third said: "So Leyla could see Jacob was in the car but they couldn't see her, even though they're supposed to be looking for her?" A final commenter added: "Ain't no way they didn’t see Leyla running out you’re kidding they were barely a foot ahead of her."

Leyla was bound and gagged in an old shed with no chance of escaping, but soon discovered Suzy and Jacob were waiting for her inside.
