Emmerdale's Kerry Wyatt made a brief return on Monday as her daughter Chloe Harris struggled to take care of newborn Reuben.
She appeared via video call to speak to Chloe as the new mother admitted she was struggling after bringing home her new baby boy from the hospital.
Emmerdale fans will know the father of Chloe's baby is very much out of the picture with Mackenzie Boyd enjoying married life with his new wife Charity Dingle.
However, as Chloe came clean about her fears and worries about being a mum, Emmerdale viewers couldn't help but be distracted by a blunder.
During the entire phone conversation between Chloe and Kerry, while Amy held baby Reuben in the background, the new mum's phone screen appeared to show that she was on mute.
Taking to Twitter, one viewer shared a screenshot of the scene and wrote: "She's Got The Mic Muted," while another replied: "I noticed that.."
Another tweeted: "Correct me if I'm wrong but was the phone muted on #Emmerdale when Chloe was talking to Kerry? On facetime?"
"How Can Kerry Hear Chloe On The Phone And Vice Versa When She's Got The Mic Muted," a fourth asked.
Kerry has not been seen in Emmerdale since leaving the village in November last year after her cheating partner Al Chapman was killed.
Actress Laura Norton's brief return comes after the actress welcomed a baby girl with partner and former co-star Mark Jordon in October.
In February, Laura and Mark revealed that their two children, Jessie, two and baby Ronnie, suffer from the genetic condition Usher syndrome.
The condition causes impairments to hearing and vision, meaning those affected will need hearing aids for the rest of their lives and can suffer from sight loss later on.
The couple were first concerned about their son's health when he failed standard hearing tests but they didn't learn that it was Usher Syndrome until they were expecting their second child.
Laura and Mark have been told their children will suffer night blindness in their teens, before peripheral vision loss and tunnel vision.
Jesse now wears a hearing aid and the couple are looking to raise awareness and help other parents with children who have been diagnosed with the condition.
