Emmerdale viewers slam script writers for “breaking” Moira’s relationship with Cain as she is forced to make a "heartbreaking" decision.
Mother-in-law Faith Dingle only has weeks to live but she’s put Moira in a difficult situation as she asked her to be with her when she ends her own life, before her illness makes it impossible for her to have any control.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV soap Faith’s health takes a turn for the worse but she was relieved when she finds out Moira hasn’t told Cain about her plans.

This was incredibly difficult for Moira and she knows that what Faith is asking her to do now will break her relationship with Cain.
She later bumped into him and asked Cain if he would want his children to watch him die and he said that he wouldn’t.
Speaking to Cain made her make her final decision - without him knowing what was really going on. Moira rushed to Faith’s side and told her: “I won’t help you do it, but of course I’ll be there. I love you, Faith, and I want to be by your side.”
The pair had an emotional moment as they hugged and sobbed together, pledging it would be their secret, “Until the end.”
However viewers were far from impressed at soap bosses as they slammed the writing for "ruining" the storyline as they “break” Moira’s relationship with Cain.
@LilithWinches66 Tweeted: “#Emmerdale Look I really liked Faith's character but you guys can't let any couple be happy anymore, Cain has only just forgiven Moira about the affair we don't need another reason to split em up.”
@Samanth22356123 commented: “If Moira agrees to this she can kiss her marriage to Cain goodbye! #Emmerdale.” @mikepriestley13 wrote: “Faith you can’t ask Moira to put her future on the line like that.. potential jail time and most certainly relationship breaker with Cain #Emmerdale.”
@PaulBiUK said: “Faith does not need assistance for suicide, so she is saying she going to commit suicide but would like Moira to sit with her while she does it. This storylines is quite sick. Way to ruin a storyline. #Emmerdale."
