Emmerdale viewers predict new romance as sparks fly between two villagers

Emmerdale viewers are convinced there is going to be a new couple in the village as sparks fly for Caleb and village bad girl Leyla.

Viewers will recall that earlier this year Leyla's son Jacob was stabbed by Callum as he warned him to stay away from his mum.

Last night the drug dealer got revenge as he attacked Suzy with a brick, leaving her bloodied and unconscious. During tonight’s episode of the ITV hit soap Leyla was left feeling guilty as she visited Suzy in hospital.

Layla was threatened by drug dealer Callum (ITV)

She found out that Callum gave the police an alibi, which means there was no evidence of him attacking Suzy. After receiving a threatening message from Callum, Leyla is desperate to get rid of him.

Unsure of what to do, Leyla headed to the graveyard and broke down. Caleb found her on a park bench and offered a shoulder to cry on.

Caleb gives Leyla some advice and encourages her to play to win against the drug dealer. Viewers think the pair could start a romantic relationship as they are both single and Caleb might be the right person who can bring out the best in Leyla.
