Emmerdale viewers think there might be more to Will's confrontation with Cain in tonight's episode than just protecting Kyle.
Will (Dean Andrews) puts himself between Cain Dingle (Jeff Hordley) and Cain's son Kyle (Huey Quinn) and the killer boy's mum Amy Wyatt (Chelsea Halfpenny). In the episode, Paddy (Dominic Brunt) is still missing and Samson (Sam Hall) is interested in Amelia's and his baby even though they're not together.
Meanwhile, Kyle is awaiting trial for killing Al Chapman and Cain is frustrated he can't see his son. At the episode's conclusion, Cain says: "He's [Will] going to get what's coming to him."

An earlier version of Will was a drug dealer and member of bent copper Det Insp Mark Malone's gang. And, as one Emmerdale viewer notes, Cain also had dealings with the deceased dodgy detective.
'Spartacus2963' tweets: "I'm now wondering if Caleb has something to do with or a connection to the missing (now deceased) DI Malone. Cain initially had some dodgy dealings with Malone when he first appeared in the village."
'Pixxalt' is less specific but moves in the same direction tweeting: "Cain is gonna get royally f****d over by Caleb and I don't know why or how but I'm here for it."
And Michael Marshall tweets: "Cain [is] going to kidnap Will and put him in his car boot."
