Emmerdale fans have been left speculating the "departure" of one of the show's characters after his "grand gesture" backfired.
Mackenzie “Mack” Boyd's attempt at moving his relationship forward with Charity Dingle sparked mixed reactions this evening.
Not everyone thought it was appropriate that he stole Charity's house keys, copied them and told her he would be moving in with her.

Charity, who left viewers reeling after a near-kiss with Vanessa Woodfield, told Mack she wasn't ready.
This in turn prompted him to pack his bags and announce he'd move to Glasgow.
Fans are now speculating if this will mean the end of Mack's storyline.
Zombie 404 wrote on Twitter: "Does this mean he’s off forever?"
Chris P commented: "Moving to Glasgow to drive a taxi would be a pretty s**** exit story."
Sophie The Kidd said: "Is Mac leaving? OoooooooooooOooooOoooo so Vanity now?"
While his permanent departure is not confirmed, others are keen for Charity to move forward.
Shannon said: "I really need Charity to dump Mack sooner rather than later."
Making a similar demand, another viewer said: "Charity get rid of Mackenzie and you might have a chance."
