Emmerdale viewers were left “in tears” as Amelia broke down over a mystery illness.
Amelia recently found a lump in her breast and has been left to deal with the crisis alone as her dad Dan is currently away.
Last night she went to the doctor's surgery to see Manpreet about the lump, only to be overwhelmed when she referred her to the breast clinic.
Manpreet insisted that it was best to refer Amelia to the breast clinic for further tests. The young mum was later shocked to receive a call offering her an appointment for the next day.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV hit soap Amelia asked Noah's mum Charity to look after baby Esther and lied that she had a college meeting.
Amelia didn’t end up going to her appointment and instead confided in Samson about her lump. Samson urged her to get to her appointment and claimed she was selfish for not thinking of Esther.
Amelia was left upset and shaken, but eventually she made it to the hospital where she found out that the lump was a little bigger than they would expect - it’s unknown what the results are.
Later Amelia went to pick up Esther from Charity but instead found her with Noah. Amelia broke down in tears and opened up to him about what she was going through and also revealed what Samson had said to her.

Viewers were left “in tears” after the emotional scene as they rushed to Twitter to praise the star for her acting. @Surfingspaniel Tweeted: “Poor Amelia, that storyline has really got to me. All on her own, just like anyone who went through that during lockdown #Emmerdale.”
