Emmerdale viewers are hoping Mandy and Paddy revisit their romantic relationship.
The pair were swept away by each other during the 90s and even tied the knot near the end of the decade despite their on-off relationship. After work and family matters got in the way, they amicably split but vowed to remain friends which they've upheld for decades since.
Recently, Paddy has been battling depression with the village having to step in to comfort him. Mandy has ensured everyone plays their part in helping Paddy overcome his problems and in tonight's episode, she forced Vinny to have a lads evening with him so he won't feel alone.

Her sympathetic side has some viewers hoping she may be the key to a brighter future for Paddy. Hoping they reignite their relationship, one viewer said: "I really want a Paddy and Mandy reunion."
Another added: "I want Paddy and Mandy now, thank you!" Alongside a broken heart emoji, a third said: "Paddy opening up to Mandy..." A final viewer begged Paddy end it with his most recent partner and said: "Say NO to Chas & Paddy, reunite Mandy & Paddy."
Paddy's heartache began after he discovered Chas was cheating on him and planned to run away with her suitor to start a new life. After the news came to light, Paddy was furious but the anger forced him to become a recluse and push people away.
