Emmerdale viewers fear history will repeat itself as Vinny has started to play poker as a way of grieving his wife’s death.
During tonight’s episode of the ITV soap he harshly rejected Mandy’s help as she became concerned he will turn out like his dad Paul, who had a gambling problem.
Jimmy offered Vinny a shoulder to cry on, however it took a turn for the worse as he introduced him to the gambling world and asked if he wanted to play a game of poker with Mack, David and Ryan.

Jimmy hosted the game at the café when he had to close the place for a repair. When electrician Marcus completed his task, Jimmy bribed him into sticking around so he wouldn't have to reopen.
However the game didn’t last long as David’s dad Eric turned up and shut it down. It wasn’t long until Mandy heard about Vinny’s involvement.
The pair got into a heated argument as Mandy insisted on helping him another way. However Vinny instead lashed out at his mum.
Just like Mandy, viewers fear Vinny will turn into his dad and develop a gambling problem. In an upcoming episode Vinny will get robbed and beaten as his gambling finds him at the centre of an attack.
